**Shift:**
**Description:**
Responsible for the daily coordination of clinic activities that are routinely provided by the CMA's. Daily duties include but not limited to VFC coordination, CMA room assignments, ensuring all necessary supplies are available, etc.
**Fiscal** **Responsibility:**
Assists the manager with monitoring of expenses to assure cost effectiveness operations, including attention to overtime and supply expenses. Assumes responsibility for coordinating supply procurement, monitors cash collection activities for the site and verifies correctness of charge capture associated with the visit.
**Staff Leadership:**
Serves as lead to staff and coordinates activities that maximize productivity and flow in all clinic areas. Responsible for developing and maintaining employee schedules to ensure efficient operations. Provides input to staff performance evaluations and assists staff with developing goals and objectives that foster professional growth and development. Coordinates the orientation process for new employees and is directly involved with the director/manager in the hiring of staff.
Monitors employees with performance related issues and encourages attainment of work improvement plan recommendations.
**Minimum Education:**
Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college
Specify Degree(s): Successful completion of accredited medical assistant program
**Minimum Experience:**
Required:
+ Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience
+ At least 1 year of Ambulatory experience in a primary or specialty care setting
+ Experienced with administering Pediatric vaccinations and monitoring schedule rotation
Preferred:
+ At least 6 years previous job-related experience
+ Previous Supervisory experience in an active, clinical setting is strongly preferred.
+ Bilingual Spanish/English
**Licensure/Certifications:**
Required:
Must possess at least one of the following Medical Assistant certifications:
+ American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
+ American Medical Technologists (AMT)
+ National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
+ National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
+ BLS CPR issued by the American Heart association
**Preferred:**
+ ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
+ PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
+ Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)
Salary Range: $25.71 to $27.13 - per hour
_Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles._
