Essential FunctionsUnder the supervision of medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration.Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.Plan and monitors staffing activities including training of new staff.Ensures all Quality Controls are complete for CLIA waive testingEnsures sample logs are in place and compliant.Maintain up to date inventory of clinical supplies and orders are submitted in a timely fashion.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.Ensures clinic stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.Ensures all government regulations are followed.Provide open line of communication to Physician Practice Leadership/Management Team.
Job RequirementsMinimum Education□ CCMA, CMA, RMA Certification□ High school diploma or equivalent □ Required□ Associate’s degree □ PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, detail oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be flexible with work location assignments.Certifications:□ Basic Life Support (BLS)
