**Job Description** We are looking for a Lead Machinist to run the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up CNC Swiss machines and will be responsible for reading blueprints, selecting tooling, setting up the CNC Swiss machining centers, programming at the machine, and performing their own quality inspections. The role involves working with medical, plastic, and metal parts in a short to medium run job shop with about 20 employees, specializing in swiss, milling, and lathe work. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints to understand specifications. + Select appropriate tooling for CNC Swiss machining centers. + Set up CNC Swiss machining centers. + Program machines both at the machine and offline. + Perform quality inspections on produced parts. + Work with medical, plastic, and metal parts. **Essential Skills** + Experience setting up CNC Swiss machines. + Ability to read blueprints. + Proficiency in CNC programming. + Experience with CNC lathes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A minimum of 1 year of on-the-job machining experience specific to CNC Swiss. + Programming capabilities (both on & offline) are a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our company provides a clean and well-lit working environment with low employee attrition.
