Lead CNC Operator

Description:

Operate multiple CNC Mills and Lathes

Perform tool offsets and changes and programming tool offsets as needed

Keep EEs on task

Use simple math to preform basic calculations.

Use various measurement equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.

Work independently, but also work productively in a team environment.

Ensure all tools, measuring devices, etc. used to verify customer parts compliance are calibrated and fit for service.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Two year certificate in machine trades.

Strong CNC Mills and Lathes experience

Leadership experience

Ability to read and interpret blue prints

Ability to operate overhead crane/jib crane

Ability to understand measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc.
