Lead Global Compensation Analyst (India)
Reports to: Director, Compensation (USA)
Location: Remote or hybrid; Ability to commute to one or more of our India offices, in Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, as needed.
Hours: Ability to work flexible schedule, primarily aligned with EST time, such as 12 – 9 local time to enable collaboration with US Total Rewards team.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be part of HealthEdge’s Global Compensation Center of Excellence (COE). You will be an integral part of this global team which manages executive compensation, sales compensation, and all aspects of broadbased compensation including job evaluation, benchmarking and compensation structure design, and aids managerial decisions related to compensation programs across HealthEdge.
About Center of Excellence:
COEs are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field through leadership, best practices, research, support, or training for a focus area. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.
Your Impact:
(50%) Primary point of contact and India Compensation subject matter expert providing support to local People Business Partners and Business Leaders in the various aspects of Compensation consulting, analytical support, modeling, market competitive recommendations and ongoing training/education etc. for business initiatives and change.
Benchmarking: Perform market benchmarking to ensure the organization’s compensation programs and practices are externally competitive and internally equitable.
Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of compensation data to support decision-making and policy development.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations related to compensation.
External market trends and intelligence: Provide insight to the global team regarding local nuances impacting compensation programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with the People team, finance, and business leaders to align compensation programs with business objectives.
Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
Program/Project Management: Contribute to annual programs and special projects as needed.
(40%) Support global compensation programs
Support the administration and communication of the US sales compensation program
Assist with global compensation survey participation spanning pay programs, policies, practices, and salary increase planning.
Actively contribute to the design and delivery of the Year End and Mid Year Compensation Cycles with the broader global compensation team. Also includes actively supporting local People Business Partners, Business Leaders in Compensation training/education, guidance and related activities.
() Provide input, support and manage local implementation of global initiatives including:
Global job architecture bringing consistency in role definition and application throughout functions and business units
Expansion incentive eligibility to local employees
(10%) Reporting and Administration
Administration of executive compensation programs including global equity program , preparing quarterly Board of Director submissions, and ensuring grant documentation is properly maintained.
() Monthly Reporting:
Prepare important analyses to support our Finance team, including:
Short term incentive plan reporting
Long term incentive (Equity) program tracking and reporting
Continuously support process improvement and data integrity efforts
What you bring:
7 – 10+ years of progressive experience in Compensation with experience working in SaaS company is highly desired
Global compensation experience, including working on a global team with exposure to US compensation programs and practices is preferred.
Strong analytic skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to drive analysis, results, and processes with guidance
Ability to work independently as point of contact for all local employee questions, program implementation, and annual processes.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain programs to broad employee population.
Ability to work cross functionally, collaborate with managers at all levels.
Interest and ability to acquire and learn new skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong Excel skills required including vlookups, pivot tables
Familiarity with UKG, BetterComp, ,, and compensation surveys including Radford would be a plus.
