Lead Compensation Analyst (Hybrid)

Job Description Collaborates with senior professionals and management in support of moderate to complex Compensation projects and initiatives. Provides guidance to and/or assists team members on non-routine or escalated issues. Job Responsibility + Independently conduct analyses and studies to support management in developing and administering effective compensation programs. + Collaborates with and guides senior professionals with an analytical approach to support compensation initiatives. Models compensation alternatives and makes appropriate recommendations. + Ensure the Health System's job design is commensurate with market and internally equitable. + Uses knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of functional objectives and principles to achieve goals in innovative ways. + Researches and resolves complex problems and serves as a technical specialist on daily tasks and cases. + Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and techniques related to the evaluation and position in the market. Assists managers in setting department guidelines and processes. + Provides guidance to the team in determining methods, making recommendations, and administering compensation programs. + Leads complex projects across multiple functional areas such as union implementations, reorganizations, acquisitions, across- the-board increase processes, etc. + Monitors performance against plans and takes action necessary to ensure achievement. + Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification + Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/ related experience, required. + Minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible professional compensation experience, including demonstrated ability lead teams in the completion of assigned projects and initiatives. Preferred Skills + Prior experience with market pricing, salary surveys, and job architecture strongly preferred. + Advanced knowledge in excel, preferred. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
