Your Impact:
The Lead Consultant will be responsible for architecting an Enterprise Content Management solution, assisting customers with the proper sizing and scaling of the architecture and performing the installation and configuration of the solution. The Technical Architect will act as a leading authority on architecting the proper Enterprise architecture to sustain large volumes of content from multiple sources; SAP Data, Email, Documents, Images, etc. Understands customer requirements and advises customer on solution options. They will also apply expert business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Exhibits a broad knowledge of all service offerings within Open Text, working with other team members to grow and develop knowledge as the product offering extends in features and settings. Collaborates with the sales team to scope the specialized portion of proposals for customer engagements.
What the role offers:
Represent OPENTEXT in a professional manner to customers, partners and other OPENTEXT personnel at all timesResponsible for architecting an Enterprise Content Management solution, assisting customers with the proper sizing and scaling of the architecture and performing the installation and configuration of the solution.Support and report to engagement project manager while assigned to active customer engagements. Regularly communicate status to the engagement project manager and proactively identify issues and preventive/remedial measures Establishes relationships with client technical counterparts. Participates in client meetings related to solution scoping and planning. Assist in the creation of proposals that address current and evolving client requirementsUnderstand requirements, conduct detailed design, determine level of effort, plan work breakdown structures and implementation approachPerform installation, development, configuration, integration and testing activities. Collaborate with senior staff and the engagement project manager as required during difficult customer situations. Work in conjunction with colleagues and the Product Support organization to ensure effective resolution of technical issues encountered during implementationsPrepare, maintain and submit activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures. Keep project managers informed of activities and alert of any issues promptly. Provide inputs as part of engagement closure on project learnings and suggest improvementsProvide knowledge transfer to team members, train staff personnel, provide on the job guidance and mentoring and conduct training sessions to customer personnel when authorized by management Adhere to processes and methodologies to perform the required function. Report deviations from defined processes to the engagement project manager and recommend associated improvementsAcquire OPENTEXT Proven Certification in Documentum Content Management foundations, administration, programming, development
What you need to succeed:
Desired experience in architecting an Enterprise Content Management solution, assisting customers with the proper sizing and scaling of the architecture and performing the installation and configuration of the solution.Strong experience in Documentum Content Server, DFS, DFC, BOF, DQLStrong expertise with working on D2 Configurations and custom plugin creationsSolid understanding of Operating System platforms, Storage platforms, different database products, cloud deployment providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Application build platforms, and integration with external vendors like SAP, Microsoft, etc. using their core api’s or through webservices. Proficiency with Database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PGSQL databases, network architecture, firewalls, extranet security, virtual environments, backup and high available structures.General knowledge of web servers, browsers and other internet applicationsProficient in programming using Core Java, JSP, JDBC or Microsoft .NET, C#, VB, ODBCProficient in programming using Servlets, XML, XSLT, HTML, SQLStrong analytical skills combined with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood team and interpersonal skills 8+ years of technical experienceBachelors in Engineering discipline (or) Bachelors in Science with Masters in Computer Applications
