We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Google Anthos, Service Mesh, and Helm Charts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and a passion for automating deployment pipelines and managing scalable infrastructure. In this role, as a trusted advisor to the business, establish partnerships, assess business needs, provide critical interpretation of data, form hypotheses and synthesize conclusions into recommendations, turning data analysis into insights
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Google Anthos, Service Mesh, and Helm Charts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and a passion for automating deployment pipelines and managing scalable infrastructure.
Kubernetes Container Orchestration:
• Assist in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Manage workloads, pods, and services while ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes-related issues and optimize cluster performance.
Google Anthos:
• Support the deployment and management of Google Anthos for hybrid/multi-cloud setups.
• Help configure and monitor Anthos policies to ensure workload efficiency and compliance.
• Work on enabling seamless integration of applications using Anthos features.
Service Mesh:
• Implement and maintain service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) for secure and efficient microservices communication.
• Assist in configuring traffic routing, observability, and mTLS security within service mesh frameworks.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance service monitoring and performance insights.
Helm Charts:
• Develop and maintain Helm Charts for deploying containerized applications.
• Customize Helm templates to automate application deployment and configuration.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance Helm-based workflows in CI/CD pipelines.
DevOps Practices CI/CD Pipelines:
• Work on setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage infrastructure provisioning.
• Contribute to monitoring and alerting setups using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Collaboration Documentation:
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices.
• Document processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides for smooth knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest DevOps tools and technologies.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Exposure to Google Anthos and its hybrid/multi-cloud capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Consul, Linkerd).
• Experience in creating and managing Helm Charts for deployment automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) and containerized environments.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Bachelor's/Graduation/Equivalent: BE/B- Tech, MCA, MBA
• Excellent Communication skill and effectively interact with business user
• Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams
• Ability to learn and respond quickly to the fast-changing business environment
• Ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
Preferred qualifications:
Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.
In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.
Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Self-motivated and eager to learn
A team player and able to lead and initiate
