Lead Counselor

High Focus Centers in Center City has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in Pennsylvania through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. With comprehensive and individualized treatment plans, High Focus Centers are an invaluable resource to adults and teens suffering from substance use, mental health, and/or eating disorders. We are currently seeking a Lead Counselor to support our clients at Center City. Schedule: Monday through Friday - 730am-330pm

Pay Rate: $60,000 USD Annually 

Scope of Position & Technical Competency -:  

Responsible for facilitating Intensive Outpatient group therapy sessions, family support adjunctive services, and consistently offer 6-8 Level of Care Assessments per week as determined by program needs, and according to program standards. Maintain one aftercare Outpatient therapy group for clients stepping down to lower levels of care, according to program needs. Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups. Maintains client files according to program standards. Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff, according to program timelines. Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members. Maintains professional interpersonal communication with clients, referral sources and company representatives. Manages client files by having appropriate documents with in the allowable time frames. Attends meetings regarding client’s progress. Conducts insurance reviews including documentation. Collects client co-pays. Scheduled for 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, and maintain minimum number of completed session visits per week, in accordance to specified productivity model. Attends trainings, staff meetings and supervision as needed and according to program standards. Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention. Maintains ethical boundaries with clients. Ability to support other programming in office as needed and as appropriate. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Required Qualifications
Education, Licensure, & Experience
a) Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.
b) Is licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience
