UPMC Horizon - Shenango Valley, located in Farrell, PA, is seeking a dedicated Lead CT Technologist to become a vital part of our Imaging Team. This full-time position primarily involves working daylight hours, with weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
As the Lead CT Technologist, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage scheduling, provide orientation, and ensure continuous performance management of your team.

Sign-On Bonus Details: $15,000 for a 2-year work commitment or $30,000 for a three-year work commitment.
**Purpose:**
In addition to performing imaging procedures at an advanced level, coordinates workflow, assists with projects and coordinates educational activities. Functions as a working technologist and distributes workload to ensure efficient operations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced technologists and communicates results back to departmental leadership.
+ Performs all responsibilities of CT Tech I and Advanced CT Tech II.
+ Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary.
+ Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
+ Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
+ Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor.
+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. CT Specialty Boards Completed.
+ 3 years CT experience required.
+ Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** ARRT certified as a CT Technologist. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
+ ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
