The Opportunity:

In this position, you will be responsible for the performance of manual and machine tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of die cut equipment to accurately produce product to customer specifications. Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows.

Set up, operate and maintain Die Cutting machines in a safe and efficient mannerLoad and unload materials, change dies, and make necessary adjustments to the machines. Ensure that all materials meet customer specifications, including size, registration, creasing quality and other die-cut specificationsMonitor production output and take corrective action when necessaryMaintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipmentCommunicate effectively with team members, including press operators and Team Lead/ManagerStay current on industry trends, new technology and best practices

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Able to convert fractions to decimal equivalentsBasic understanding of Machinery & processes.Ability to read, write & understand basic English.  Able to communicate effectively, Lead and provide direction to crew.Job requires making decisions based on established guidelines regarding running or shutting down on defective work and operational problems/difficulties of all kinds.Required to stand & walk continually. Occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling 20 to 50 lbs. (Up to 10 times a hour)Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling & reaching.
