Lead Data Analyst - 1st Shift

Hybrid Schedule:

- Onsite: Monday/ Tuesday/ Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

- Remote: Wednesday/ Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 

 

As the Lead Analyst, Data, you will play a key role in building reporting and analytics products that provides business with timely and accurate data insights to manage and improve operations, leading to operational efficiency gains and cost optimization. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Coordinating the development of appropriate operational analytics necessary to ensure both customer alignment and contractual obligations involving report creation, data validation, manipulation of the data, merging databases, writing queries, building reports on the dashboards and automation. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Develop/implement forecasting processes and standardization of the process monitoring replenishment forecast accuracy, tracking replenishment min/max alerts and inventory health. Understand operational challenges and derive/collect data needed to provide insights to leadership to address them. Ongoing development of planning solutions driving continuous improvement using applied solution across the different sites. Act as a subject matter expert, not only helping our operations and leadership partners make informed, data-driven decisions but also assisting data & business analysts with operations and data-related questions.  Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with the customers to resolve data discrepancies, interpret reports, validate data, and review periodic demands with operations to form a consensus daily forecast with the client and Ops.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or other quantitative field.

Experience must also include four (4) years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in the following:

Programming languages (Python, SQL, VBA, & Power Query) Reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau, Pandas, ggplot, matplotlib, numpy, BusinessObjects, MS Excel, Airflow, & MS Access) Databases (Oracle, SQLite, & MSSQL) Work Management tools – JIRA, & Confluence Warehouse Management Systems – WMS, OMS, & SAP CRM tools - Salesforce

It’d be great if you also have:

Experience working in a supply chain, logistics, distribution, transportation or manufacturing environment Experience preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases and presentations Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
