Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a **Lead Data Engineer** in Charlotte, NC.
**Job Role and Responsibility:**
Drive complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams. Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives. Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives. Define and drive detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. Help with decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions. Drive project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables. Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems. Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

**Required Qualifications** :
**Degree required:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related technical field.
**Amount and type of experience required:** 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience.
**Specific skills required:**
• 5 years of Reporting experience;
• 5 years of experience in executing IT projects;
• 3 years of SQL experience;
• 2 years of experience with HR Data Strategy or HR metadata projects; and
• 2 years of leading team/product.
