We are seeking a talented Lead Data Engineer with strong coding skills and hands-on experience in data processing, specifically using PySpark and Python. In this role, you will work with connected vehicle data from telematics devices, transforming vast amounts of information into actionable data products. You will be responsible for processing and summarizing large datasets in a cloud environment, with a focus on Azure and big data tools.

Responsibilities Process and transform large datasets using PySpark and Python.Work with connected vehicle data and telematics devices to create data products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data engineering solutions that support data products and analytics.Write well-structured, high-quality code with Python, ensuring that all work is thoroughly tested and documented.Drive innovation by experimenting with new approaches to data engineering solutions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 2 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 1 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience

OR

At least 5 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Strong coding experience in Python and PySpark.Experience with data engineering and data transformation.Background in computer science or a related field.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Ability to work with large datasets and summarize data points effectively.
