Job Description An employer is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their team hybrid (1x per week onsite) in downtown Austin, TX. This person would join the Data Systems R&D team for an online portal that gives healthcare providers clinical information including drug information, diagnosis and treatment guidance on the web, iPhone, or Android devices. The lead role is an individual contributor position who will be leading technical projects. This person should be able to conduct backend coding in Java but also be comfortable designing data structures, services, and data warehouses. This person will maintain and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines for existing data lakes and will create integrations for vendor partners. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
