Position Overview:
Care.com is looking for a Lead Data Insights Analyst to join the Analytics & Data Insights team and support ETL processes, executive decision-making, and tier 1 business metric development. This analyst will play a critical role in developing data pipelines, creating self-service tools for leadership, and ensuring that key business performance metrics are consistently accurate and available for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is deeply curious, an exceptional storyteller with data, and passionate about turning raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Note: This is a hybrid position based in uptown Dallas, TX or downtown Austin, TX (in-office Mon/Wed/Thurs).
What You'll Do:
Partner with General Managers, Finance, and Business Operations teams to develop scalable analytics solutions that support macro business issues and strategic initiatives. Uncover business drivers and build compelling storytelling assets to inform business decisions backed by data. Develop self-service tools and dashboards for executives and senior leaders, providing visibility into key business metrics and enabling data-driven decision-making. Take ownership, from definition to reporting, of metrics related to core business operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability. Monitor trends across Care.com’s platform, identifying breaks in trends, diagnosing underlying causes, and surfacing opportunities for improvement. Use strong storytelling techniques to transform complex data into compelling narratives that drive executive action. Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets to develop insights that inform company-wide operational decisions. Build and maintain data models to support executive-level reporting and weekly business updates. Design and build ETL pipelines to ensure the seamless integration and accessibility of business-critical data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product teams, to improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities. Work with big data technologies to support data warehousing and business intelligence needs.Who You Are:
7+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or ETL development role. Strong SQL skills (MSSQL, BQ, Hive, Presto) required. Expertise in Tableau, R, Python for data visualization and advanced analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business operations and strategic decision-making. Highly curious and passionate about uncovering insights through data exploration. Proven ability to tell compelling stories with data and communicate insights to executives and stakeholders. Ability to extract and analyze large datasets from diverse data sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Proficiency in building dashboards and self-service tools for executive stakeholders. Strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and operational data analysis. Ability to work independently with high-level direction while collaborating with key business stakeholders. Experience building and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines. Experience with Amplitude, Snowflake, or other data analytics tools is a plus. Statistical knowledge and modeling experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.Company Overview:

Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and stock options.
