About the Role:
A Lead Data Scientist leads a team of junior members to support their development and work product. They define the scope of a project and execute that project as a team. They support the development and training of junior members. They develop best practices as team leaders.
Responsibilities:
Leading and conducting advanced data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making.
Developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems
Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading
Conducting in-depth analysis and interpretation of results to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
Requirements:
Have a master's or doctorate in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience
Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
Have experience in leading complex projects and customer relationships
Have substantial experience in a Data Scientist role
Be adept at working in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a proficient problem-solving mindset
Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
