Essential Responsibilities
Create and maintain data models that accurately represent the Configuration Management data requirements and relationships between data elements.Design and develop advanced data structures that optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for Configuration Management and other key components in Common Data Environments.Apply sophisticated database designs to solve challenging data modeling and data integration problems, including designs applying ontology, designs leveraging relational, graphical, and hierarchical data structures, and designs involving both structured and unstructured data.Design and implement data integrations, including data pipelines, ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes to ensure data interoperability intra- and inter-Common Data Environments and between heterogeneous data environments either on premise or in the Cloud.Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive information, including access controls, encryption, and data masking.Develop and implement data quality standards and processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.Collaborate with business partners and other team members and functions (IT, Sourcing, Project Management, Engineering, Cyber, Finance, Legal, Quality) and works with these cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.Create comprehensive documentation for data structures, databases, and data processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with best practices.Stay updated on emerging data management technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential for adoption in the organization.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.At least 5 years’ experience in database and data structure design, management, and modeling.2 years' knowledge in configuration management technologiesEligibility Requirements
The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be consideredDesired Characteristics
Experience in designing for triplestores.Experience in working with data in manufacturing or other industrial environments.Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud).Working knowledge of industry cyber standards (inclusive of CFR 810 Export Control).Demonstrated experience in information management framework BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650 and CFIHOS standards) and setting up a project delivery digital common data environment (CDE).Familiarity with CDE applications for requirements management, document management, scheduling, 3D modeling, and asset management.Experience in a regulated industry such as: power, process, marine, medical or oil and gas but preferably nuclear under a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Program for safety-related systems, structures, and componentsKnowledge of nuclear business products, business processes, customers, and competitive environmentExpertise in data architecture principles, data integration, and ETL processes.Familiarity with data security and compliance standards, including GDPR and HIPAA.Proficient in data quality assurance and performance optimization techniques.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.The base pay range for this position is $99k-140k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/4/2024.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
