Design and develop static mechanical equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Mounded Bullets, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks (Fixed & Floating Roof), Piping systems and Site Support Engineering. Review of Method Statements, Project Execution Plan, Hydro-test and Hydro-Pneumatic Test Plans, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning requisites.
Perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations for static equipment using industry-standard software (e.g., auto cad, PV Elite, ASME, API 650, 620,625 & BS / EN standards & codes).
Prepare and review equipment layouts, piping designs, and support systems.
Conduct stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and other relevant studies to ensure the safety and efficiency of the designs.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) to ensure the integration of static equipment with other systems.
Assist in project scheduling and planning, ensuring milestones for design, procurement, and installation are met.
Provide support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.
Ensure the design and construction of static equipment meet quality assurance standards.
Perform quality checks and inspections on design drawings and construction work.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving static equipment in the field.
Provide technical support for the maintenance, repair, and modification of existing static equipment.
Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of static equipment.
B.E./ M.E. (Mechanical) or equivalent with Minimum 6-8 years of experience in static equipment design, analysis, and maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power industries. Familiarity with static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and associated piping systems and experience in Chemical Handling, LPG, Ammonia and LNG shall be an added advantage.
