Lead Designer, Footwear Product Design - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Produce innovative footwear designs, and create a line from concept to reality; collaborate closely with Design and Category Management teams to develop innovative product designs that resonate with target consumers, enhancing Nike's design identity and product performance; oversee the meticulous execution of product details, covering construction, color, form, style, detail, fit, performance, and cost/value requirements; generate and present materials effectively communicating category consumers, product concepts, and creative strategy to internal and external audiences; actively seek expert input to craft designs mindful of cost/value, fit and performance, manufacturability, sustainability, merchandising, and aesthetic finish; create new practices, processes, and design applications to elevate product value and performance; optimize product performance and appearance; and work closely with Design management and Senior Designers to advance and cultivate a personal portfolio of design skills, experiences, and product/process knowledge. Domestic and international Travel is required. Must have a Master’s degree in Design or Textiles and 2 years of experience in the job offered or Design-related occupation.
