Job Title: Lead Designer
Job Description

As a Lead Designer, you will be a part of designing products and technologies aimed at enhancing the key performance characteristics of combustion systems, including emissions and operational performance.

ResponsibilitiesImplement standard drafting procedures and policies.Define best practices utilizing SharePoint and SolidWorks.Optimize drawing packages for internal use and by partners and fabricators.Create customer-specific drawing packages that meet site requirements.Contribute to the design team to improve existing technology and operations.Essential SkillsDegree or Certificate in CAD Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology.Highly skilled in SolidWorks, including Sheet Metal and Weldments.5-10 years of drafting design experience.2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly.Ability to create and modify 3D models and assemblies.Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Ability to manage and organize CAD files and documentation systematically.Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM).Ability to troubleshoot design issues and optimize models for manufacturability, assembly, or construction.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills.Motivated, self-starter, problem solver.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the burner, boiler, flare, or process heater industry.Certifications in SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design, Advanced Surfacing, Advanced Drawing Tools, Advanced Sheet Metal, and Advanced Weldments.Familiarity with API-560 and API-535.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
