Lead Developer

Job Summary

The Lead Developer for DENSO’s PLM ensures the creation and maintenance of the capability to provide product and product information to all stakeholders. This includes managing the PLM system, which integrates product design models and digital information, allowing access to this data for suppliers, manufacturing plants, and customers. The role involves leading PLM tool development, implementing DevOps best practices, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Define and implement DevOps best practices for application teams and contribute to the project codebase (JavaScript/C#/SQL). Lead and manage the development of PLM tools with a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) approach. Collaborate closely with the PLM Business Lead and Project Manager for detailed project planning. Organize and lead development sprint activities to ensure efficient project delivery.           Mentor and provide technical guidance to the development team. Analyze customer inputs by understanding business processes, creating use cases, and defining the operational context of the system. Develop and maintain conceptual solution architecture using a combination of standard and custom applications. Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, and build consensus across stakeholders to ensure successful technology delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in PLM tool development and deployment.  Proficiency in web programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, HTML), data modeling, and working within an Agile/Scrum environment. Proficiency in DevOps best practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Strong programming skills in JavaScript, C#, SQL, and other web programming languages. Experience with data modeling techniques and managing large-scale enterprise applications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to project timelines.

Preferred

Proven track record in leading large enterprise PLM software deployments in a lead developer or architect role. Experience with customizing and configuring the Aras Innovator PLM tool. Strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery. Exceptional planning, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Experience with cloud technologies and managing cloud-based PLM systems. Certifications in Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance project management capabilities. Familiarity with microservices architecture and deployment strategies. Leadership experience in large, cross-functional development teams. Expertise in system security and compliance to ensure that PLM tools meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Salary $130,000-$155,000.
