Barracuda is looking for a Lead Development Representative to fuel our new sales team by delivering high-quality leads and driving growth in our Small Medium Enterprise (SME) and Midmarket sectors. In this role, you'll engage with prospective customers to build Barracuda’s customer base through strategic outreach and qualifying inbound leads from various channels, including marketing campaigns, web inquiries, and events.
What you'll be working on Promptly engage with install base leads generated through existing customer accounts, service interactions, and product usage data. Make outbound calls to connect with potential customers. Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining fit within our product offerings. Conduct thorough research on leads using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other online resources. Maintain detailed records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce. Collaborate with Account Executives to set up qualified appointments. Consistently achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead and call targets. What you bring to the role Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High energy and a positive attitude. Familiarity with Salesforce.com and shared Outlook calendars is advantageous. Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills. Adaptability in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
