We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join out technology team in Clarivate. You will be working in a highly agile, innovation driven and DevOps centric software product organization alongside with product engineering team, cloud and software security engineers, architects, agile delivery managers and software support teams.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…
Overall 7 years of experience and 3 years as AWS DevOps Engineer with experience on various CI/CD tools.
Excellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches. Strong practical knowledge of CI Tools, e.g. Jenkins
Strong experience in any Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) like Terraform or CloudFormation
Strong scripting skills in one or any combination of bash, python.
3 years of hands-on experience with Docker.
Minimum 1 years of experience in AWS RDS DB Server administration(MySQL & PostgreSQL).
Minimum 1 years of experience using AWS Lambda
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
It would be great if you also had . . .
Experience in programming languages. TypeScript or Javascript.
AWS (Step Functions, API Gateway)
Infrastructure monitoring especially with Datadog experience a plus.
What will you be doing in this role?
Drive integration and delivery of technical solutions aligned with product roadmaps, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
Design, develop and implement the product infrastructure architecture.
Drive the implementation of service improvements, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
Own the performance, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the product(s) running across cloud, global multi-region, infrastructure.
About the Team
Cloud Architecture and DevOps Engineering is a part of Product Engineering in Clarivate IP Business Unit. This team is responsible for driving cloud native initiatives, CI/CD standardization support in improving DevOps engineering practices and building future proof cloud solution.
