What you'll do As a Lead DevOps Engineer at Docusign, you will be responsible for owning the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices within our diverse DTS technology landscape. Lead DevSecOps will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our Salesforce, ERP/OCI, Data Platform, and MuleSoft environments. Responsibility Formulate and implement a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy encompassing Salesforce, ERP/OCI, Data Platform, and MuleSoft environments Orchestrate the automation of deployment, testing, and monitoring processes to optimize efficiency and enhance system reliability Implement and supervise security practices, including vulnerability scanning, access controls, and threat detection, ensuring the safeguarding of our systems Foster collaboration between development and operations teams, closing the gap between these functions and promoting a collaborative culture Establish and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for relevant technologies, expediting the release cycle Promote the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient infrastructure management and provisioning Set up and sustain monitoring and analytics tools to proactively identify and address issues Develop and maintain incident response plans and actively participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution to minimize disruptions Stay updated on industry standard processes and emerging trends in DevOps and security to continuously enhance our practices Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate with multi-functional teams Ensure that systems and processes align with relevant regulations and industry standards Act as a point of contact for complex technical issues and provide solutions Manage the budget allocated for DevOps activities and tools Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge Build relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, if applicable Communicate with customers, management, and other teams to provide updates and ensure alignment with business objectives Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant experience 8+ years of experience implementing or using CI/CD pipelines and tools to deploy code on SaaS and On-Prem platforms that include, Salesforce, Oracle, Snowflake 8+ years of experience with one of the programming/scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python Preferred Work experience in active directory domain services Experience using GitHub actions for CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of security standard processes and experience implementing security controls Hashicorp Vault, DataDog, Fossa Understanding of “automate everything” combined with the ability to rapidly learn the technical skills necessary to do so Sophisticated knowledge of GitHub, JIRA Experience with infrastructure automation Advanced experience using configuration management tools at scale Self-starter with ability to effectively prioritize and complete projects without much direction or supervision Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
