Position Summary

Leads the maintenance, inspections, and repairs of heavy machinery and vehicles.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Leads, trains, and mentors a team of mechanics, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and meets safety standards.Instructs mechanics on best practices in performing diagnosis and repairs.Maintains a local terminal domiciled fleet of trucks, trailers, and forklifts.Tracks and inputs invoices and parts work orders into the database.Inspects, services, and repairs diesel powered equipment.Delegates tasks and manages the workflow within the maintenance shop.Performs advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to vehicles or machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.6+ years of mechanical experience.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Pay Rate: 33.75 - 38.25 per hour, based on experience
