About the Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Digital Category Manager to join our Digital team. This individual will lead the execution of the product life cycle on the website, co-own the testing of our promotional experiences, and driving a customer-focused shopping experience with appropriate end-to-end click through journeys from channel marketing to checkout. The Lead Digital Category Manager will be responsible for collaboration with the merchants, revenue driving customer browse experience, and provisions to marketing teams of the best landing experiences for promotional and non-promotional campaigns that focus on optimizing engagement and increasing conversion. Primary responsibilities include partnership with the Senior Director of eCommerce and merchants and increasing category growth with internal and external tools to drive sales and KPIs. This position will need someone who is confident to take ownership of their assigned areas of responsibilities with guidance from their director, but who is resourceful in seeking out answers and solutions with the tools and additional partners present. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities Lead vision, strategy, and execution of key Divisions to meet financial goals Develops and help execute best-in-class UX/UI in increase conversion by being immersed in latest digital UX/UI trends and competitive landscape analysis Continuous improvement in homepage creative and execution; PGP interactivity and awareness-building; PDP ease-of-purchase appeal are central to site improvement responsibilities Extremely detailed-oriented daily/weekly tracking of improvements – interactivity metrics such as views, clicks, and customer movement through the purchase funnel to checkout completion Create seasonal content calendar – with weekly-level detail – for key merchandising stories, incorporating stories about what value your divisions will bring to customers’ lives – trend-setting; features/benefits; material/fabric; usability and appeal in terms of form/function. Work with the relevant Merchants, Creative, UX/UI Engineers to make a timeline for ideation, creation, and launch of said content to support key financial goals Use available metrics for traffic, interactivity, and conversion from Homepage to PGP to PDP to Add-to-Cart to Checkout to understand where, what, when, and how we should prioritize UX/UI site improvements Analytical horsepower to combine different sources of data to identify root-cause of business problems, and equally importantly, get buy-in to execute solutions to address that root cause Harnessing root-cause analysis to put together slides/decks to communicate to their director and senior leadership what, why, how, and when improvements should be made to address the root cause Put together a business case with key metrics – sales, unit, margin implications – for UX/UI improvements, and what the estimated lift in performance would be based on those improvements Championing their Divisional objectives and site improvements with leadership and cross-functional partners to find creative and scrappy solutions that can be iterative to an ideal solution. Be adept at presenting to leadership and being able to handle detailed follow-up questions with both data and competitive analysis Maintain an in-depth project planning document, such as a timeline, to track all projects with next steps, stakeholders, and estimated go-live dates Deep intellectual curiosity to improve individual skills, interpersonal communication, and overall continuous improvement Work effectively with numerous cross-functional partners to advance the needs of the website in a timely manner. Once an improvement is executed, have a keen eye on how to continue enhancing on that improvement Performs daily site audits to ensure accuracy of promotions and experiences What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. MBA strongly performed 12+ years of experience in eCommerce or any D2C commerce company Ability to create slides quickly, and speedily build a story-telling deck Intellectual desire to hunt for root cause through 5-why methodology, and not accept surface-level answers In a constructive and collaborative manner, question current status quo while thinking through ideal method of operation Excellent analytical skills, high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Excel skills should include ease of use with Pivot tables, and be willing to use learning tools to improve Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in presenting to senior leaders in a compelling manner to get business priorities approved Stellar project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work; must be able to understand trade-offs and be able to make an informed decision on consequences of prioritization Able to build strong bonds with key cross-functional partners to understand the business, and effectively negotiate business priorities Comfortable pivoting when needed to react to business trends; daily/weekly tracking of business performance in order to be proactive rather than reactive Preferable to have experience with Google Analytics and PowerBI Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote work location. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
