Position Summary
The Lead Director of Pharmacy Operations located in our Chicago facility’s primary objective is to oversee all distributive and dispensing activities for the Chicago pharmacy and other locations as needed. You will develop and execute a comprehensive short and long-term strategy to meet the business objectives.
The Lead Director will also oversee and be responsible for:
Organize, direct, and control professional and non-professional personnel's activities ensuring prescription orders are filled, checked, and shipped efficiently and cost-effectively to achieve exceptional customer service standards and business profitability. Routinely engage with peers and senior leaders (VP, SVP) across stakeholder groups in thought partnership on policy development and strategy assessment, re-directing as necessary to meet the dynamically changing regulatory environment.Collaborate with other functional areas to support sales, operational, and financial objectives within the PBM related to day-to-day pharmacy operations, and effectively partner with the workforce management, finance, HR and other Mail Ops resources. Provide effective leadership and direction to all direct reports while managing and fostering a dynamic and progressive work environment characterized by high integrity, commitment to excellence, and respect. Develop a robust, diverse talent pool and succession plan and promote a high-performance culture by clearly setting goals and expectations.Effectively communicate and implement company procedures for following all applicable internal controls necessary to comply with federal regulations and company policy. Will coordinate with other dispensing pharmacies within the business unit to address and correct service issues to ensure business continuity and member service excellence.The Lead Director will report to the Executive Director, Mail Operations and have 6 direct reports.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
