We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. **Position Summary** This position will have ownership over actuarial responsibilities for half of Aetna’s ACA regions, including pricing, financial results, and guidance on strategic decisions: • Guide development of key pricing assumptions, considering the changing landscape of the ACA and overall business objectives • Contribute to risk adjustment and risk score analysis to enhance pricing & forecasting expectations regarding risk adjustment, including collaborating with business partners in Product Performance & Revenue Integrity, as well as external consultants • Contribute to the achievement of profitability and membership goals by acting as a strategic partner with business partners (IFP Strategy, Product Performance, Network, Product, Compliance, etc.) • Develop or recommend initiatives to drive down cost structure by working with multiple business partners so price points can be competitive and achieve required financial goals • Navigate several data points, possibly contradictory, and rationalize recommended course of action, recognizing risks and opportunities. Work with different areas to understand those data points • Devise responsible pricing strategies to achieve business objectives. Recommend decisions logically based on data and business acumen that weighs the pros and cons and considers calculated risks. • Cultivate relationships with local regulators and negotiate terms of rate filings and approvals • Manage a team of 6-8 individuals, ranging from analyst to senior manager levels, providing guidance and professional development **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree along with 10+ years of related experience - ASA/FSA credential - Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel - Ability to work with large and detailed data sets: SQL, Power BI a plus - Strong communication skill - Prior management experience - Strong technical/analytical skills and attention to detail **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with ACA markets **Education :** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
