The **Document/Records Manager Senior Lead** shall provide technical direction and analytical support to records inventory/records retention schedule projects for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission Office of Support Operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage the daily activities of assigned contractor personnel.
+ Responsible for the coordination of on and off-boarding of team members.
+ Provide feedback to management on performance issues or concerns.
+ Track team performance to include but not limited to workload management and training.
+ Submit weekly, monthly, and annual project status reports
+ Prepare records for on/off-site transfer and disposition
+ Proofread, edit, and correct text files created using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) programs such as Adobe Acrobat
+ Complete log sheets and reports on tasks’ progress
+ Conduct research (electronic/physical)
+ Compose correspondence
+ Perform organization (indexing)
+ Prepare records inventories
+ Perform access, retrievals, preservation, and assigned security.
+ Create and perform box inventory indexing and culling
+ Perform and implement appropriate retention
+ Process incoming offsite records
+ Perform scanning/digitization of microfiche
+ Perform and maintain electronic inventory tracking
+ Perform other data/information collection activities, including document screening.
+ Perform document/record maintenance within assigned divisional internal systems
+ Perform quality checks related to the review of documents for accuracy, formatting, and system capability
+ Perform document distribution and control
+ Copying and faxing
+ Assemble/disassemble documents as required to ensure original documents are reassembled precisely to the original state
+ Retrieve and process various media formats, tabs, numbers, labels, and assembles
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university, or educational institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
+ Minimum six (6) years of recent experience in information and records management.
+ Minimum two (2) years of management experience.
+ Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
+ Ability to provide a favorable credit history.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ Experience organizing and archiving documents, assessing scanning quality, and digitizing documents and microfiche.
+ Excellent written and oral communication and time management skills.
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
+ Experience with records management systems, including the Archives and Records Centers Information Systems (ARCIS) and NARA’s Electronic Records Archives (ERA).
+ Knowledge and experience with Iron Mountain and records management preferred.
+ Demonstrated technical leadership in records inventory and/or records retention schedule development projects and personnel.
+ Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining innovative. processes/methodologies/technologies for records and information management.
+ Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, departments, and stakeholders.
+ Possess acute attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and maintain organization.
+ Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and prioritization.
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
