We are seeking a Lead Electrical Designer for assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will work on electrical projects for commercial and industrial facilities including pharmaceutical, electronics, data centers and other advanced facilities and support buildings.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Cincinnati **
** Candidates with Revit experience are highly preferred **
Responsibilities- Establish design requirements and produce construction documents; systems include medium and low voltage power distribution, motor controls, lighting, lighting protection, grounding and fire alarm systems
- Engineering calculations, conceptual design, code compliance, construction cost estimating support, equipment specifications and preparation of electrical construction packages
- Oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages
- Assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process
- Interact directly with the client, owner and contractors to assist construction on site
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 15+ years Electrical Design experience of manufacturing or industrial facilities and buildings
- Ability to lead a team of 5 - 10 employees
- Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination and arc flash
- Knowledge of Revit or BIM software is highly preferred
