Lead Electrical Engineer

This role is for a Lead Electrical Engineer, responsible for developing electronic solutions for Product COEs across the Aerospace organization.  You will lead the definition, development and verification of Printed Board Assemblies that comply with customer, industry, and internal requirements. Printed Board Assemblies will be mixed signal, requiring a blend of analog, power and digital design experience.  Expertise in environmental and EMC design standards, analysis techniques and best practices is also required.  As a Lead Engineer, you will lead cross-functional teams through the hardware development process.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n\n\tDevelop analog, power and digital circuit cards, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements\n\tDevelop EMC requirements, analysis and verification artifacts\n\tRepresent electrical design team on pursuits and new proposals\n\tLead technical teams through the product development process\n\tDevelop and improve best practices, processes and tools\n\tMentor and coach junior level engineers\n\tReview process and product quality\n\n\n

You Must Have

\n\n\n\tBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering\n\t15+ years of Electrical Design experience\n\n

\n\n\n\tStrong experience with Commercial and Military Aerospace Standards and Requirements, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160, Boeing D6, Airbus ABD-0100, etc.\n\tExtensive experience with circuit design and analysis tools, Mentor DXDesigner, LTSpice, PSpice, MathCAD, MatLab, Hyperlynx SI/PI\n\tKnowledge of EMC Design, analysis and verification Best Practices (Grounding, Emissions, Layout, etc.)\n\tAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of engineering and management\n\tIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision\n\tAbility to consistently demonstrate business impact and continuous drive for improvement\n\tAbility to influence customers and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes\n\tAbility to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment\n\n\n
