Conceptualize, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will be the key technical focal point across Honeywell Universal Oil Products (UOP) engineering teams creating solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will influence electrical design directions and methodology developments. As a electrical engineering technical expert, you will leverage advanced tools and simulation techniques to deliver high impact business results while acting as a technical leader and coach for other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nApply prescriptive methodology to project tasks\nLead engineering teams\nPerform specification review\nStandardize global electrical design\nCommunicate non-compliance incidents\nPrepare or update reports and documentation\nUse computer-assisted equipment\nExecute project tasks\nIdentify areas for technical improvement\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics\n10+ Years’ experience generating requisitions for various types of Electrical equipment such as Motors, Lighting, and Heat Tracing\nExperience leading teams\n10 Years’ experience developing standards for electrical equipment\n\n

\n\nExperience mentoring or coordinating a team of Engineers\nPE or similar Electrical certification preferred\nIncorporate applicable Hazardous codes and customer requirements in order to produce a complete technical definition of the equipment.\nAssumes the secondary/primary liaison role with various outside suppliers and customers\nTechnically evaluate bids and participate in the supplier selection process\nReview supplier designs against licensor requirements, code requirements, and customer requirements.\nCoordinate with suppliers throughout the fabrication phase of the project.\nVisit shops for kickoff meetings and critical inspections points\nWork closely with all members of the project team including quality assurance, piping, instrument, process, and structural designers, purchasing personnel, and project managers to meet project requirements for Instrument\nKnowledge of applicable NEC, European, Other Countries code UOP standards for Electrical equipment.\nFamiliarity with 3-D Model Design, Conduit/Tray Routing, Mechanical Support and Installation Details\nEngineering degree from an accredited university\n\n
