The Lead Electrical Engineer role is designed as the acting authority in the field of electrical engineering. Other expectations include applying advanced techniques and principles to planning, conducting, and coordinating a broad range of complex professional research, development, design, technology, manufacturing, or quality assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities\rMay influence strategic planning for major technical projects or more than one project of major scope and complexity that significantly impact the business.Provides significant external leadership including extensive customer and stakeholder interface.Advises and consults as technical expert to other technical and administrative personnel to drive and implement short and long-term projects.Prepares comprehensive proposals, schedules, and cost estimates; may set, modify and/or negotiate schedule changes and dates.Leads, directs, influences, or coordinates the work of a major project, program, product or component with responsibility for project objectives, completion dates, and technical specifications.Drives technical advances and innovation and/or improvement in existing technologies to make substantial impacts.Stays current with relevant emerging technology and business trends.
