BelFlex Staffing Network is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Technician to join a growing team for a client in the electrical maintenance and service industry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrical professional who thrives in a leadership role and is comfortable working in remote field locations. 

Location: Clayton, NC 
Salary: $75,000-85,000

Overview:
As the Lead Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment such as switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, and more. The role requires extensive travel and a hands-on approach to both technical work and team leadership. 

Key Responsibilities:  Lead a team of technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems (switchboards, transformers, circuit breakers, etc.).  Perform inspections and testing on low and medium-voltage systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using manuals, schematics, and engineering support Mentor and guide junior technicians, ensuring efficient execution of work.  Maintain detailed reports of all service work, including repairs, testing, and component replacements.  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.  Manage fieldwork schedules and ensure quality customer service and satisfaction Qualifications:  Required: 3+ years of experience in elecrial maintenance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.  Education: Highschool diploma/GED required (technical education or military experience preferred) Skills: Experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems, electrical tools (multimeter, Megger, Hi-Pot) and OSHA standards Ability to lift 70 lbs. and work in tight spaces Must be able to travel 50-85% of the time (domestic and remote locations) Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record Benefits: Competition Salary 401 K with company match Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid time off and parental leave Profession development assistance
