**Job Title: Lead Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a top helper electrician for a client that specializes or will to work doing industrial service work. This position involves working with a small team to troubleshoot, repair, and potentially install new equipment for clients. The ideal candidate will be sharp and professional, as this role requires on-site work in front of clients. While industrial experience is preferred, candidates with commercial experience are also encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience who is eager to grow with a company in the Hickory area. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, offering a three-day weekend most weeks. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with full benefits available once the contract is fulfilled. **Responsibilities** + Work with a small team to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment. + Potentially install new equipment for clients. + Work on-site in front of clients, maintaining a professional demeanor. + Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. + Run conduit, including rigid conduit and pipe. + Wiring motors and motor control systems. + Perform panel wiring and other electrical tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of electrical experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. + Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and running conduit. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with motor control and wiring motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Industrial or commercial electrical experience. + Great attitude and professionalism. + Familiarity with industrial manufacturing facilities. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great work schedule that promotes work-life balance, as well as opportunities for promotion within a growing company.
