Lead Electrician
**Job Title: Lead Electrician** **Job Description** As a Lead Electrician, you will install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. You will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical wiring to control panels. Collaborating with the team to ensure electrical systems are properly integrated into the overall project is essential. You will also test electrical systems using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety while following safety protocols and adhering to all relevant regulations. **Responsibilities** + Install electrical systems and equipment according to local and national electrical codes. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical wiring layout. + Collaborate with team members to integrate electrical systems into overall projects. + Test electrical systems using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety. + Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations during electrical work. + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. + Manage and mentor electrical apprentices. + Oversee electrical installations up to 480v. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in the trade. + Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical issues accurately. + Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently. + Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits. A new ventilation system is in place for air control. Additionally, heated hoodies, hats, and gloves are provided. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
