Job Title: Lead Electrician
Location: Buffalo, NY
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $30-35+/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in compliance with both local and national electrical codes. You will interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine electrical wiring layouts for control panels, ensuring that all systems are properly integrated into the project. You will also test systems for compatibility and safety, following established safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Install electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local and national electrical codes.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical wiring layouts.Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall project.Test electrical systems using devices to confirm compatibility and safety.Adhere to safety protocols and relevant regulations during electrical work.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, performing repairs as needed.Manage and mentor electrical apprentices.Oversee electrical installations up to 480V.Essential Skills
Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in the trade.Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.Ability to work independently or collaboratively to complete projects efficiently.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is based in an industrial environment, which is not temperature-controlled, so it may be cold in the winter and warm in the summer. To ensure comfort, we’ve implemented a new ventilation system and provide heated hoodies, hats, and gloves during colder months.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
