**About the Role:**
As an Elite Direct Sales – Lead Specialist, you will sell Windstream products and services to customers within a Windstream service territory and support the local sales manager as second-in-command of a sales team. As an Elite Direct Sales Specialist for Kinetic, you are an essential part of a high performing residential sales team. In this role you will travel within a designated territory to engage potential customers, build rapport, and sell Kinetic internet, phone, digital TV, and security services to residential customers.
This role requires a proactive and energetic individual with excellent communication and persuasion skills, as well as the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs and preferences.
This job will require 75 - 100% travel which demands schedule flexibility. Company will cover cost of travel, meals and rental cars while traveling with the direction of the manager. In this position you will go door-to-door (home-to-home) to speak with potential customers, complete orders, ensure service activation, set up accurate billing and then follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also provide mentorship to the rest of your sales team regarding accountability, best practices, and training needs. As a lead specialist you are expected to meet product and service sales quotas along with working with the sales manager to ensure the overall team quota goal is met each month.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Assist local manager with new agent onboarding process.
+ Assist with shadowing during new agent training / ramp up period.
+ Available to work with underperforming reps as needed.
+ Be a resource for the team.
+ Support the team/company culture.
+ Provide team coverage in manager’s absence.
+ Assist with distribution of team sales collateral as needed.
+ Help teammates with internal/external pop-up events, often multiple occurring at once.
+ Have a vested interest in the team’s overall performance to monthly quota.
+ Have a demonstrated ability to consistently perform at or above a sales quota.
+ Set the example for teammates regarding performance metrics – doors knocked, conversations and sales.
**Do You Have:**
+ Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
+ Good driving history and valid driving license.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with others.
+ Self-motivation and a desire for success.
+ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
+ Sales experience
+ Bi-lingual, a plus
+ High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years’ experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate. This is a safety sensitive position.
