We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Lead Energy Technician. You will act as a lead and install energy efficiency measures to reduce consumer energy bills for various utility and weatherization programs within a defined territory in a company-provided vehicle.

In this role, you will…

Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heatersPerform minor repairs to include windows and doorsAssist with loading and unloading work trucksEnsure measures installed are to program guidelinesTroubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with utility specificationsEnsure all required paperwork and status updates are completed dailyAssist with keeping the job site organized and safeAssist with customer site job set up and tear downPerform testing of combustion appliances to ensure proper function.

Exciting candidates have…

1 – 3 years of general experience with residential construction, in-home customer service, field work, installation experience, etc.Minor plumbing and/or electrical experience is requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredBPI certification preferred; or ability to obtain certification within 3 – 6 months (company provided)

Physical Demands/Requirements

Able to work in different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weatherSit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workdayUse repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power toolsUse of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
