The primary focus of our opportunity to lead a team of equipment engineers in maturing ground-breaking semiconductor manufacturing hardware. You will be in a very collaborative environment, partnering internally with process engineering and many ancillary groups while externally building positive relationships with equipment vendors – to enable novel technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead a diverse team of equipment development engineers.Team responsibilities:Leading the design, development and characterization of new tools and identifying and closing any hardware and procedural gaps.Innovate solutions that enable best in class performanceOversee installation and upgrades of tools ensuring quality of work, cost control and alignment to project schedule.Engage equipment vendors to improve current products and implement roadmap needs.Work with Process Engineers, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Vendor partners to develop a comprehensive package capable for our volume manufacturing sites.Generating and maintaining documents that outline equipment performance, operating procedures, maintenance specifications, and cost metrics.Develop performance plans and goals for personnel within the D.E. equipment team with a clear focus on employee development and in alignment with company and department goals.Foster a productive team environment within, and outside of, the D.E. area.Be known as a results-oriented individual dedicated to meeting customers' needs.Proven ability to solicit feedback, accept inputs and analyze success/failure to improve personal and team effectiveness.Must be a "team builder" with strong focus on effective team dynamics and distributed responsibility.Have a 'Safety First' approach.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

Demonstrated ability to create innovative equipment design changes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and equipment modifications to meet process requirements.Extensive experience with dialectric etch tools, and/or high aspect ratio tools.Cross functional experience in equipment engineering, construction/installation, facilities, field services and support are desired.Ability to generate and manage project plans and schedule resources.Strong interpersonal skills with customers, collaborators, and managersProficiency in structured problem-solving methods.

Education and Experience:

B.S. in Engineering or Science field (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) + 8 years minimum working experience in a semiconductor industry as an engineer with experience in Dry Etch process/equipmentM.S./Ph.D. in Science or Engineering field (experience is preferred) + 6 years minimum working experience in a semiconductor industry as an engineer with experience in Dry Etch process/equipment
