The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for undertaking mechanical engineering activities related to Surface Pressure Control (SPC) products and technology.
As Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing and Project Engineering for API 6A Products - Surface Wellheads and Trees.
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for all products.
Applies existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline.
Provide technical leadership to personnel/ cross functional teams supporting the assigned project.
Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
Communicates solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
Mentor and develop early career technical talent.

To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 10 years of experience Surface Wellhead and Flow Control Equipment (including API 6A equipment).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Creo and Mathcad proficiency.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Product testing and qualification experience (including API 6A PR2F)
Product support, services, or field services experience.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
