KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DESCRIPTION
•    Work with the internal teams to build solution for GPON routers.
•    Work with HW, SQA SME’s to define the product spec / help in defining the test plan document.
•    Work with vendors and product team in reviewing RFP proposals.

SKILLS
•    Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in GPON Protocol Stack- Debugging, Analysis.
•    Advanced knowledge of GPON protocol (ITU-T G.98x standards) and/or a strong experience of GPON equipment configuration (OLT & ONT) is mandatory
•    Good knowledge of equipment and technologies like
o    Ethernet access networks (VLAN bridging, cross-connect, …)
·Ethernet QoS (policing, shaping, IEEE 802.1p, 802.1q, 802.1ad, … )
o    IP QoS (ToS, DCSP, …)
o    Broadband Forum Technical Recommendations for access networks
o    Network protocols: PPPoE, IPoE, ARP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, RTP, VOIP SIP, LACP, IGMP, MPLS…
o    Network security basics
o    Measurement equipment's (protocol emulators, traffic generators, protocol analyzers.
