Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Delivering of assigned project activities, tasks, work packages involving designing, detailing engineering, developing and configuring of control Logic and HMI, internal testing, system set-up, IFAT or FAT, Installation and commissioning and SAT. Complete End to end lifecycle of the project.• Preparing design specifications, engineering documents and testing procedures. Working closely with project manager throughout the execution.• Assigning Work packages to Project team members and Monitor & Track the progress project for healthiness.• Maintain Project Target KPI’s for Healthiness of the Project.• Lead technical Meetings and technical review meetings with Key stakeholders of the project.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleMinimum 7 to 10 years of experience in complete lifecycle of the project from bid phase to commissioning especially in the field of Oil and Gas / Refineries / Petrochemicals / Power & Wa-ter / New Energies like Hydrogen / Carbon Capture and Storage. Experience in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance according to Industry Standards IEC 61508/ 61511/ IEC 61131-3 / IEC61850/ IEC104/IEC101 etc. Having ABB Control system Experience (800xA, Symphony plus, Symphony Harmony , Advant, Infi90, Conductor NT, PPB) experience is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in Application Engineering & Graphic Engineering tools inDCS and knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc…).G16. BE or B Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics and Communications Engineering or Equivalent.
