Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician, for our Chandler, AZ location.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

\n\nProduction Support:\n\nAssist with assembly process and testing on the production floor to meet customer needs and timelines\nTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency\nCollaborate with manufacturing staff to troubleshoot process issues and eliminate defects. Create detailed documentation of RCA analyses and corrective actions.\n\nProcess Implementation and Stabilization:\n\nAssist in developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems. Perform process analyses to identify areas for process improvement.\nCollaborate with manufacturing engineers and staff to ensure process documentation (Work instructions, SOPs, etc.) is accurate and concise\n\nContinuous Improvement and Innovation:\n\nStay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to cost reduction and production efficiency\nImplement continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity\n\n\n

U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates. 

You must have:

\n\nAssociate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or similar technical experience/certifications\n5 years of manufacturing floor experience, with at least 2 years as a technician and/or 2 years in a supervisory or lead role\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, etc.)\n3+ years of experience with CAD design, rapid prototyping, and fabrication\nExcellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in cross-functional teams\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization\n\n

\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field\nYellow or Green Belt Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification and experience\nExperience using MES (Manufacturing Execution System)\nProven experience delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced engineering support setting\nExperience troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical systems and thorough Root Cause Analyses\nPractical experience working with engineering equipment\nWide experience supporting critical manufacturing\nExperience stabilizing production environments after product launch\nContinuous learning mindset and a passion for innovation skills\n\n
