And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you. **Make a Difference** The Lead Epic Analyst will be a knowledgeable authority on their primary area of responsibility and provide support to other teams and Community Health Network end users as appropriate. This role uses defined methodology to independently perform system life cycle tasks. These tasks include planning, system analysis, design, application building, testing, maintenance, application support and small project work utilizing standard project management methodologies. Consistently demonstrates effective communication, project management and team building skills. The Lead Epic Analyst will also be a systems thinker, understand the interdependencies of the applications they support, and promote performance improvement. As a Lead Epic Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business operations to analyze business requirements, configure, and maintain solutions to align with organizational needs, and provide ongoing system support to caregivers and patients. Support extends across our community of caregivers and colleagues to serve as a bridge between technology and our business. The Lead Epic Analyst can expect to mentor/coach colleagues in IT application practices and principles within their function. **Exceptional Skills and Qualifications** Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. · Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent relevant certifications/experience required. · In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered. · Six (6) or more years of healthcare and/or equivalent IT experience or a minimum of four (4) years in an Epic Analyst role required. · Epic certification strongly preferred. · Ability to provide guidance to the Epic Inpatient Orders team while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. · Mentor and support team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement. · Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality. · Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. · Gather and analyze feedback to inform decision-making and prioritize tasks for the team. · Assist in resource planning, ensuring efficient allocation of team members across multiple projects and responsibilities. · Identifies areas for improvement within the team and in cross-functional build spaces. · Coaches/mentors the team in analyst best practices including self-organization and cross-functionality. · Displays willingness to nurture a team environment, adapt to new situations and help others adapt, to modify own behavior and that of others and to demonstrate genuine concern and support for others. · Serves as an Epic knowledge expert and keeps abreast of current and new Epic capabilities and serves as a resource to other staff. · Performs other duties including routine application analyst work as assigned. · This position will be a hybrid role if you reside within a 60-mile radius of 7260 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Hybrid expectations include in-office work once to twice a week and/or on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department. · This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely if you reside outside of the 60-mile radius parameter of 7260 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states.
