Lead Extraction Technician
Job Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay-Rate: $28.25/hr

Who You Are:
As a Lead Extraction Technician at Curaleaf, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, driving innovation and excellence in cannabis extraction and processing. This is an exciting opportunity to "own" a new lab, develop systems and processes, and play a vital role in launching new products in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
What You Will Do:
Operate advanced extraction and purification equipment, including pressurized systems, rotary evaporation, winterization, distillation, and more. Author and adhere to SOPs for extraction, post-processing, and laboratory maintenance. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of lab equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Plan and execute daily extractions, meet production goals, and track inventory. Support R&D initiatives by building experimental designs and implementing process improvements. Develop and document meticulous lab notes, batch records, and compliance documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, operations, and supervisors to drive innovation. Install and maintain plumbing and electrical components for lab equipment. Ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations, maintaining compliance with all legal standards.Compliance:
Ensure processing operation is fully compliant with state regulations and federal and state law. Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements. Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs and batch records Maintaining inventory within state-issued cannabis inventory softwareWhat You'll Bring:
High school diploma required + 2 years of technical/vocational training. Hands-on experience with pressurized systems, extraction processes, and rotary evaporation. Mechanical aptitude with a strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in scientific record-keeping. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams. Knowledge of cGMP, health and safety protocols, and hazardous waste handling. Familiarity with ROTO evaporation and other extraction equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Even Better If:
You have 1-2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience. You have a B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Bioprocess Engineering.Physical Requirements:
