JOB SUMMARY
Overall program management including contract outcomes, leadership and supervision, clinical operations, training, fiscal and billing controls, EHR, workplace safety, and policies & procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors all facility monitors during the day, swing, and overnight hours ensuring that clients have oversight.
• Respond to resident’s needs for medication or emergency medical treatment.
• Maintain program structure and adherence to rules and procedures.
• Create staff schedules under the supervision of Program Manager to include transporting schedules, covering shifts due to
absences, vacation, or sick leave.
• Review timecards and confirm actual time worked by all monitors before they are submitted for PM approval.
• Responsible for updating visiting logbooks, ensuring that policies are being adhered to.
• Seek supervision by contacting Program Manager in case of emergencies.
• Documents in the program log both the regular checks on clients and any emergency/crisis situations which occur.
• Provides basic direction to clients who experience emotional crisis.
• Communicates effectively with other staff to provide consistent treatment for each client.
• Displays regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time, as scheduled. This is mandatory for this position as there is no other coverage on this shift.
• Maintains facility security.
• Understands the concept of co-dependent behavior.
• Able to recognize mood changes or signs of behavior that indicate relapse.
• Able to distinguish and discuss appropriate behavior with residents.
• Encourages resident involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
• Sharing responsibilities with co-workers in all disciplines for all residents in the program.
• Exhibiting flexibility and adaptability to change and willingness to assist others.
• Provides support for staff members and assists in seeking solutions to problems.
• Participates in maintenance of security procedures of the facility.
• Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Working knowledge of substance abuse programs and treatment.
• Staff in this position are expected to be pursuing an education/training designed to further their career in the substance abuse treatment field.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite and EHR software.
• Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
