Annual Salary: $55,000 Position Summary: The role of the Lead Family Coordinator position of the Brevard Behavioral Health Expansion (BBHE) project is to increase family and youth voice and choice within the system of care, representing cultural and linguistic competency, specifically, but not limited to Diverse SOGIE and Black and Indigenous People of Color. This will be done by building community partnerships, expanding cultural alliances, recruiting, facilitating supportive activities, and training peer (family/youth) advocates, and assisting organizations to incorporate youth and family voice at multiple levels. This position will also provide consultation with the Wraparound training and Replication Teams. The Lead Family Coordinator will also provide linkage to community support groups for parents and children identified on the neurodiversity spectrum. Technical/Functional Expectations: Assist with Monitoring Program Performance/ Adherence to Contract Measures – essential function : This position works alongside the Project Director to monitor performance in accordance with contractual measures and provides strategic direction to produce desired outcomes. Strength Based Family/Youth Centered Practice Orientation – essential function : This position is expected to work in a Strength Based Family Centered manner to enhance Agency Wraparound philosophy and values. This position will participate in Trauma Informed Care initiatives. Leadership in development, implementation and monitoring of the BBHE strategic plan-Essential Function: This position will work with the BBHE Project Director to develop measurable goals and help train the care coordinators who will provide direct support to the families served under the BBHE grant. Support Group -Essential Function: Develop infrastructure and activities to create Positive Parent Support groups representing the cultural and linguistic background of the populations of focus that will support and promote family and youth involvement and the family/youth voice at all system levels. Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes. Business Experience: Min 2 years ’ Experience as a Wraparound Practitioner: This position requires a minimum of 2 years ’ experience as a wraparound practitioner and/or developing and implementing wraparound strength -based communities of care. Min 2 years ’ Experience in Budget Management: This is essential in order to provide fiscal management and oversight of the purchased services , flex support budget and to document, summarize and articulate data. Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills: In this position, strong Project Management Skills are required to lead the initiation of the BBHE grant. Valid Driver's License- Essential: Required to travel throughout the County for FTCs and other meetings. Educational and Experience Requirements: I, BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. 2. MA/MS- Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred. 3. Minimum 2 years Wraparound and staff management experience required. 4. 3+ years related work in dynamic environment preferred. Physical Requirements: 1. Sitting 2. Listening 3. Lifting 20 pounds 4.
