Lead Field Engineer
Job Description As a Lead Field Engineer, you will be installing and commissioning AV systems, delegates tasks, and mentors 1-3 team members. You will perform hands-on installation of a wide range of video conferencing and integrated audio and video equipment in corporate boardrooms and meeting rooms. You will work with equipment from brands like Tandberg/Cisco, Crestron, AMX, Extron, Lightware, Planar, Barco, and Cyviz, either independently or as part of an installation team. Responsibilities include:  Working with client schedules and setting expectations.  Supervising and advising field technicians during installation.  Compiling room and equipment inventory.  Handling large shipments.  Reviewing project documents before launch.  Performing onsite inventory and asset tracking.  Installing AV equipment and cables.  Confirming project requirements with the Lead Engineer & Project Manager.  Remote programming and software troubleshooting.  Participating in project closeout and user acceptance testing.  Documenting processes and procedures.  Providing user training and support.  Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers for technical knowledge. Skills and Requirements 4-5 years of experience as an AV Field Engineer  Strong experience installing A/V control systems from brands like Crestron, Cisco, AMX, Planar, Avixa, Samsung, Audinate (Dante), Bi Amp (Biamp) (Software List attached)  Must own Field Engineers tool list and equipment (see tool kit list attached)  A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position, as travel to various client sites is necessary  Must be 100% comfortable with ~80% Tri-state through Maine travel + ~20% nationwide travel Certifications in the Audio Visual industry  Valid Passport for potential international travel null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
